The wine
Dom Pérignon declares only in years that meet its measure, and 2013, cool and late, produced a vintage of poise and precision. The signature Chardonnay-Pinot Noir assemblage delivers the house's seamless tension, a wine of clarity built to reward patience.
Pale gold, the mousse fine and caressing. The nose is layered and bright: white peach, citrus zest, almond blossom, toasted brioche, and a smoky, iodine minerality. The palate is taut yet generous, orchard and citrus fruit drawn across a fine chalk seam of acidity. Creamy, precise, and exceptionally long, with a saline echo.
