Golden and bright, the bead fine and persistent. The nose is rich and toasty: ripe red apple, brioche, roasted hazelnut, dried apricot, and a savoury, smoky depth. The palate is broad and powerful, mature orchard fruit cut by a vibrant chalk-driven acidity. Creamy, profound, and very long on the finish.
