Tenuta di Ghizzano, an organic and biodynamic estate in the hills near Pisa, has farmed the same land for centuries. Veneroso blends native Sangiovese with Cabernet Sauvignon, a Tuscan classic given coastal-leaning polish. The balanced, structured 2019 vintage frames ripe fruit with genuine freshness and a sense of place.

Deep ruby, it leads with black cherry, plum and blackcurrant, Sangiovese lending dried herb and violet over the Cabernet's darker core. The palate is medium-full and finely structured, tannins firm and chalky, acidity keeping it bright. Tobacco, sweet spice and a Mediterranean note of bay and earth resolve on a savoury, persistent finish.
