The wine
Few addresses carry the mystique of Vosne-Romanée, and the Felettig family farm Aux Reignots, a parcel directly above La Romanée, with quiet diligence. Expect Pinot Noir of depth and spice, the unmistakable Vosne signature of dark fruit and exotic perfume. The 2022 vintage is ripe, fragrant and beautifully composed.
Deep ruby with a violet sheen, exhaling black cherry, blueberry, clove and a curl of incense. The palate is plush yet structured, dark-fruited and spiced, with velvety tannins and a savoury truffle note that marks the great Vosne terroir. Liquorice and dried rose carry a long, sweetly perfumed finish. Power and perfume entwined, as Vosne should be.
